NEW ORLEANS-Comsys Communications & Signal Processing Ltd. believes U.S. corporate data users can benefit from using WLAN and EDGE as complementary technologies and the company is integrating tools and software algorithms to pursue opportunities in the market.
“I suspect that, at least in the U.S., EDGE coupled with WLAN hot spots will satisfy the capabilities that most people were expecting from full UMTS, and perhaps offer even more capabilities,” said Will Strauss, president of market research firm Forward Concepts.
