NEW YORK-T-Mobile USA has cut the price of its Wi-Fi Internet access service at 1,200 retail locations, including Starbucks coffee shops, to $30 for a monthly pass and $6 for a daily pass, CNet reported.
With 20 or fewer people using the service at Starbucks’ busiest store, the fixed wireless service has been slow to attract users, a spokeswoman for the coffee shop said.
“We want to continue to be the most affordable service out there,” said Frank Ramirez, a T-Mobile executive.
