BUENOS AIRES, Argentina-BellSouth’s Latin American operation saw a fall in income of US$2.23 billion in 2002, a 23-percent drop compared with the previous year. These results form 10 percent of BellSouth Corporation’s total income, and reflect the figures of seven of the 11 countries in which the company operates.
