Nokia reports US$100 million expansion in China

HELSINKI, Finland-Nokia will supply a GSM network expansion to China’s Henan MCC in a deal valued at more than US$100 million.

Deliveries of GSM core and radio access network infrastructure and the Nokia NetAct operations support system solution have already begun. “Nokia has been the main supplier of Henan’s GSM network at every phase since 1995 and this latest expansion also underlines Nokia’s commitment to provide advanced mobile technology solutions in China,” said David Ho, vice president of Nokia Networks China.
