Motorola releases integrated Bluetooth chip

AUSTIN, Texas-Motorola’s Semiconductor Products Sector released the MC72000, an advanced integrated Bluetooth radio solution for wireless devices.

The new solution reportedly increases radio operating ranges while decreasing interference from other devices, including microwave ovens, 802.11 networks, cordless phones and other Bluetooth-enabled devices operating in the same band.

Motorola will demonstrate the MC72000 and its Bluetooth Accelerator, a feature of the DragonBall MX1, at the Bluetooth Developers Conference in San Jose, Calif., Dec. 10.
