OSLO, Norway-Telenor has announced details of its reorganization, which is aimed at simplifying and strengthening the Norwegian operator’s position in the domestic market. The operator will soon be competing in the Nordic region against the combined TeliaSonera.
Telenor will focus on three business areas-mobile services, fixed services and broadcast services. The mobile unit will include all the company’s international mobile activities, with Arve Johansen heading the unit.
“Telenor shall be a more open and service-minded company, and we need to ensure that customers clearly see what we are offering and what we stand for,” said Karlsen Sorby, part of corporate management.
