BETHLEHEM, Pa.-Padcom Inc. said it has unveiled a software solution, known as Version 3.60 of the Connectivity Suite, that enables seamless roaming between cdma2000 1xRTT and other wireless data networks like private RF, CDPD, proprietary networks and wireless local area networks.
“The shift toward multinetwork roaming is already becoming evident and will continue to grow as the wireless industry evolves,” said Tim Scanell, president and chief analyst, Shoreline Research. “In version 3.60 of the Connectivity Suite, Padcom has successfully resolved these issues and goes further by providing network administrators with additional levels of control when dealing with multinetwork wireless and mobile environments.”
