CORVALLIS, Ore.-Startup Pixio Corp., which provides wireless point-of-purchase sales information for retail consumers, announced it appointed Dan Whitaker as the company’s new president and chief executive officer. Whitaker is an Oregon entrepreneur and co-founder of Rogue Wave Software.
Pixio’s sells its Pixio.NET service, which allows store managers to publish product information to interactive ShelfSeller displays on shelves next to products, a move the company said would make purchase decisions easier.
