SEATTLE-Rogers AT&T Wireless in Canada is expanding its relationship with ViAir Inc. to offer its new Wireless Desktop, which gives customers wireless access to Internet and corporate e-mail, as well as calendar and contacts.
Using ViAir’s WirelessInbox, users will be able to access corporate applications including Microsoft Outlook and Lotus Notes using their mobile phone. The service is available for $5 a month when combined with any Rogers AT&T Wireless data plan, or $20 a month for customers on a current Rogers AT&T Wireless voice plan.
The two companies have been offering wireless access to Internet e-mail accounts since June 2000.
