PARIS-Struggling French handset vendor Sagem said it registered several new contracts for GSM modules for mobile phones and it has received orders for more than 2 million units in the first nine months of 2002. The value of the contracts was not disclosed.
Sagem also said it has several new Asian clients, including Maxon Telecom in Korea. Maxon has chosen Sagem’s second-generation GSM and GPRS modules.
