BUCHAREST, Romania-The three main mobile Czech operators and the country’s five most important banks have founded the Mobile Payment Association (MPA). The aim of the MPA is to develop and support a unified system for mobile-phone payments, thus boosting the development of mobile financial services.
The group hopes to provide the Czech public with access to a universal method for making purchases via mobile phones usable not only in the Czech Republic, but also through roaming abroad.
