Put your mobile phone on a leash

While Nexus One seems to have stolen all of the attention at this year’s International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, US-based electronics company ZOMM has unveiled a device that we think could turn out to be another significant development for the mobile industry. Yep, that’s right – it’s a wireless leash for mobile phones.
Though the concept of owning a mobile phone leash might put a smile on some of your faces, when you think about it – it’s actually a brilliant idea. I mean, how many people’s lives have been ruined by the loss of their mobile phone? Similar to e-mail, a mobile records our interaction with others and provides a connection to our friends. Without one, we are totally lost. Just ask all of the people who have lost theirs during a drunken night out, or those who have had the misfortune of having theirs stolen. The loss of a phone can result in many sleepless nights, something the ZOMM could bring to an end once and for all
