It appears that most of the stocks of the RCR Wireless Stock Index are starting off the new year on the right foot, as gainers led losers by a better than 5 to 1 margin over the last week of trading. Notable in our gainers list was Alcatel Lucent with an almost 12% gain for the week. Our losers for the week for the most part reported modest losses, with the top loser, Brightpoint, showing a loss of roughly 7% for the week.
