BOSTON—TDK Systems announced it has added three new software applications for its Bluetooth products: TDK Mobile, TDK Dialer and TDK blueDial, which all allow users to back up and transfer data stored in mobile phones.
With TDK Mobile, users can control and manage Bluetooth-enabled mobile phones from PCs or laptops through TDK’s Bluetooth PC Card or USB Adapter. TDK Dialer allows users to dial numbers stored in Palm databases on Bluetooth-enabled phones. And TDK blueDial, designed for TDK’s bluePAQ device, allows users to dial numbers from iPAQ contact lists as well as to edit and send SMS messages.
“With the tendency to upgrade phones more often, there’s an increasing need to back up and transfer the data stored in a mobile,” explained Nick Hunn, managing director at TDK Systems.
