Relm Wireless Corp. has been awarded a $750,000 contract from the Department of Defense for its Rapid Deployment Portable Repeater, which allows emergency responders to extend their wireless radio communications network or set up a new network within minutes while on the move.
Approximately $32,000 of the order will be fulfilled in 2009. The remainder is to be fulfilled during 2010, with unspecified delivery dates.
