ITHACA, N.Y.—Sprint PCS launched wireless service in Ithaca, N.Y., completing the major portions of a $31.4 million network expansion project connecting the cities and thoroughfares of New York’s Southern Tier. Sprint PCS affiliate US Unwired will operate and manage the network.
The Ithaca network includes the communities of Cayuga Heights, Ulysses, Newfield and Danby.
