BELLEVUE, Wash.—The South American subsidiary of Nextel Communications Inc. will offer carrier-level access to corporate information through a new deal with wireless software provider InfoSpace Inc.
NII Holdings Inc., the Nextel subsidiary that offers service in Argentina, Brazil, Mexico and Chile, will sell InfoSpace’s Corporate E-mail product to its business subscribers. The product gives users wireless access to e-mail, calendar and contact information in Microsoft Outlook or Lotus Notes. The service works at the carrier network level and requires no corporate server installation.
