HELSINKI, Finland—Nokia, CMG Wireless Data Solutions, Comverse, L.M. Ericsson, Logica, Motorola, Siemens AG and Sony Ericsson Communications have joined to found an Interoperability Group for multimedia messaging services that will help ensure a smooth introduction of MMS into the market.
Together the companies plan to facilitate and coordinate MMS interoperability testing and problem solving and channel technical information related to testing. The group will share all of its results with the 3GPP and WAP Forum.
