LAS VEGAS—Palm Inc. said it will use Broadcom Corp.’s line of Bluetooth transceivers as a building block for developing Bluetooth personal area network capabilities for upcoming Palm handheld devices.
“Broadcom’s Bluetooth products are a best-value solution meeting our cost, size, performance and power requirements, while also meeting Bluetooth specifications,” said Angel Mendez, Palm’s senior vice president of global operations.
