KANSAS CITY, Mo.—Sprint PCS and BlueKite, a provider of wireless Internet software, introduced Sprint PCS Dialer 3.0 wireless connectivity software designed to make mobile connections to the Internet and intranets more convenient.
The software incorporates bandwidth optimization from BlueKite to wirelessly enable Internet access on laptops and handheld devices using Windows 2000 and Windows CE operating systems via the Sprint PCS Wireless Web Modem by Sierra Wireless or a Sprint PCS Connection Kit.
Sprint PCS said customers can download the Dialer 3.0 software or upgrade their current Dialer 2.0 software from its Web site at no charge.
