SCHAUMBURG, Ill.—Sprint PCS affiliate iPCS Inc. said it added 27,515 customers during the third quarter, bringing its subscriber base to 134,927 customers. Average revenue per user increased from $56 during the second quarter to $58, while churn was reported at 2.8 percent.
The strong customer addition and ARPU numbers pushed company revenue from $6.5 million during the third quarter last year to $35.5 million this year. Net losses available to common stockholders also dropped from $62.8 million, or $1.40 per share, to $29.3 million, or 66 cents per share.
