DETROIT—AT&T Wireless rolled out GSM/GPRS services in the Detroit area, including the Flint and Ann Arbor, Mich., and Toledo, Ohio, markets.
The only handset currently available for the GSM/GPRS service in those markets is the Motorola Timeport P7382i. The handset is priced at $200, with service starting at $50 per month for 400 voice minutes and 1 megabyte of data.
AT&T Wireless said it expects to launch GSM/GPRS service in Florida within the next several weeks.
