Mexico City, Mexico, April 15, 2011 — América Móvil, S.A.B. de C.V. (“AMX”) (BMV: AMX; NYSE: AMX; Nasdaq: AMOV; LATIBEX: XAMXL), announced today that its subsidiary Radiomóvil Dipsa, S.A. de C.V. (“Telcel”), was notified of a resolution issued by the Mexican Federal Antitrust Commission (Comisión Federal de Competencia), imposing a fine of $11,989 million Mexican Pesos for alleged monopolistic practices in the mobile termination market in connection with an investigation initiated in November 2006. AMX and Telcel are currently analyzing the scope and legal grounds of said resolution in order to exercise any and all applicable legal remedies.
