Telecommunications giant Digicel has announced it is currently working on its plans to ‘seamlessly’ integrate the Claro Jamaica business, including the 3G service, into the Digicel Jamaica business.
On March 11, Digicel announced that it had signed an agreement to acquire Claro Jamaica.
In a press release at the time, the mobile company said a deal was signed with América Móvil to acquire its Claro business in Jamaica, and in return, Digicel will sell its businesses in El Salvador and Honduras to América Móvil.
The financial terms of the deal were not been disclosed, however, Digicel is set to receive a net cash payment.
