AT&T looking to hire more than 100 in N.E.

Telecom giant AT&T Inc. said it plans to host a pair of job fairs this week looking to fill more than 100 positions across Massachusetts, southern New Hampshire and Rhode Island.
The company said the positions were a “direct result of the continued expansion of AT&T’s growing wireless business segment.” Available positions are in retail sales, small business sales and sales management.
“Efforts by state leaders to balance policy in a way that encourages companies to continue to invest are paying dividends and enabling job creating growth in the wireless industry,” said William Leahy, VP of AT&T’s Atlantic Region legislative and regulatory affairs. “There are a lot of talented people out there looking for jobs right now and we are pleased to do our part to help get them back to work.”
The job fairs are scheduled for Sept. 30 at the Hilton Dedham in Dedham, Mass., and the Doubletree Guest Suites in Waltham, Mass. No appointments are necessary.
