Motorola to buy RiverDelta Networks

SCHAUMBURG, Illinois—Motorola said it has signed an agreement to acquire RiverDelta Networks for about US$300 million to enhance its data, voice and streaming video.
“This acquisition makes sense for both companies, because it strengthens our ability to meet the needs of broadband networks,” said Dan Moloney, senior vice president and general manager of Motorola Broadband’s IP Systems Group, in a statement.
