WEST MELBOURNE, Fla.-RELM Wireless Corp., manufacturer, developer and distributor of wireless LMR products, announced it has received two orders under existing contracts.
The Communications Electronics Command of the U.S. Army placed an order valued at $482,000 and the U.S. Bureau of Land Management placed a $462,000 order. RELM will provide CECOM will BK Radio-branded products for distribution to Army bases and installations internationally. The BLM order is for BK Radio-branded “clamshells,” which enable regular alkaline batteries to power BK portable radio units, allowing quick replacement and uninterrupted communications in emergency situations like forest fires.
