MINNEAPOLIS-Circata, a Minneapolis wireless infrastructure enabler, and the Trading and Development Partnership Co., a partner of the Saudi Telecom Co., will sell and distribute Circata’s products and related technologies in Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates.
As part of the exclusive, three-year agreement, the companies also may integrate Circata’s Exellar Wireless Platform. Exellar is a proprietary, device-independent, software-based server that gives any Web-enabled device access to any Web-based content from any server anywhere, Circata said.
Circata also will provide Internet Protocol telephony services to enable client access to enterprise and legacy systems over IP telephones.
“We expect the market demand for data and business information over the wireless Web to rapidly accelerate over the next three years,” said Fahd Aldohish, chief executive officer of TDP’s wireless technology division.”
“Circata’s ability to deliver content to any wireless-enabled device anywhere in the world made them the clear leader for our initiative. … By partnering with Circata, we can deliver a very scalable, platform-independent wireless technology to enterprises and consumers within both countries.”
