NEW YORK-Emblaze Systems introduced its next-generation, carrier-grade back-end system for the delivery of standards-based MPEG4 video over wireless networks. The company said five European cellular carriers have signed trial agreements to test the system, but did not name the carriers. The company said its new Emblaze I system gives carriers the ability to send the highest possible quality multimedia services over a variety of networks, including GSM, GPRS, TDMA and CDMA.
