LONDON-Cable & Wireless launched its GPRS Roaming Exchange mobile data roaming service, allowing mobile operators to offer users wireless access to data services internationally.
Cable & Wireless said the GRX service uses a dedicated, global Internet protocol-based network to interconnect GPRS wireless networks worldwide as they are rolled out. The service is also designed to support third-generation services, as they become available.
