INDIANAPOLIS-Brightpoint Inc., a provider of outsourced services, announced the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana has dismissed the consolidated case that was filed by purchasers of the company’s common stock from Oct. 2, 1998, through March 10, 1999.
The court granted Brightpoint’s motion to dismiss the action on March 29, and gave the plaintiffs the right to file a motion for leave to amend the complaint before April 26. Because the plaintiffs did not file, this is the court’s final judgement dismissing the action.
