SOUTHFIELD, Mich.-Sprint PCS announced it will deliver wireless voice and data communications solutions to all 2001 Jaguar vehicles in North America, according to an agreement signed between the firms.
Under the deal, Sprint will be the exclusive wireless network provider supporting telematics solutions for Jaguar’s Deluxe Communications Package available on all Jaguar S-Type cars. It will remain one of three network providers supporting optional communications packages to all other Jaguar models.
The Jaguar S-Type package includes a console-mounted cellular phone, voice-activated controls, navigation system and a four-year subscription to the Jaguar Assist emerging messaging system.
