AT&T offers Indiqu sports content on PocketNet service

SAN DIEGO-Indiqu Inc., a provider of wireless entertainment content, announced AT&T Wireless Services Inc. has launched its Edge Sports channel on the carrier’s Digital PocketNet service.

Unlike other sports content, Indiqu’s Edge Sports channel provides news and event schedules for sports like skateboarding, snowboarding and BMX riding. It also includes athlete rankings, trivia games, polling and messaging. It plans to add surfing and motocross in the future.

“Generation Y consumers are the early adopters of WAP services and our Edge Sports offering is tailored to this audience,” said Robert Lezec, chief executive officer of Indiqu.
