LUBBOCK, Texas-About 955,000 residents in Wisconsin will be able to sign up for Sprint PCS’ products and services in an announcement by Sprint affiliate Alamosa PCS Holdings Inc.
Alamosa said it launched Sprint’s service in six new markets in the state, including Appleton, Oshkosh, Green Bay, Fond du Lac, Manitowoc and Sheboygan.
“With the solid population density and large employer companies in this territory, these markets present a great opportunity for Alamosa,” said David E. Sharbutt, Alamosa’s chairman and chief executive officer. “In addition, we are also proud to provide Green Bay Packer fans the opportunity to use Sprint phones and the Sprint PCS all-digital, all PCS nationwide network between Milwaukee and Green Bay.”
