TOKYO-Japan’s National Police Agency on 1 November started distributing photo files and detailed information about 25 selected wanted suspects through the i-mode service. NTT DoCoMo’s i-mode users now can see photos of wanted people and get information on their terminals free.
Furthermore, when they have some specific information about the suspects, they can make a free emergency call to police.
KDDI’s EZ Web and J-Phone’s J-Sky wireless Internet services are providing the same services until the end of November as part of the Japanese police’s drive to track down suspects.
