ATHENS, Greece-The National Telecommunications and Post Commission of Greece announced its intention to grant individual licenses for fixed wireless access networks. The auction for the 15-year licenses is set to begin on 4 December.
Three frequency blocks in the 3140 MHz to 3600 MHz band and four frequency blocks in the 24500 MHz to 26500 MHz band will be auctioned. Each bidder is eligible to obtain one frequency block in each band through the simultaneous with multiple rounds auction.
Applications are due 20 November, with prequalification and announcement of qualified bidders scheduled for 30 November.
