FORT WORTH, Texas-Travelocity.com launched a mobile flight-booking tool with rebooking capabilities for customers using various types of wireless devices.
The service allows travelers to buy airline tickets via their devices, as well as rebook previously purchased tickets if necessary. The service is available to subscribers of AT&T Wireless Services Inc., British Telecom plc, Nextel Communications Inc. and Vodafone Group plc, as well as Palm VII or other personal digital assistant users signed on to the OmniSky service.
Existing Travelocity.com wireless services include access to flight itineraries, flight status, flight schedules and weather in all major U.S. cities.
