CHICAGO-Commtouch Software Ltd. signed an agreement with MobileID, an open standards-based wireless platform provider, for Commtouch to deliver e-mail and messaging solutions for MobileID’s Integrated Personalization Platform and also extend the messaging capabilities for its corporate e-mail.
“With messaging services powered by Commtouch, MobileID users can receive and respond to messages on their mobile phones, personal digital assistants or two-way pagers,” noted David Hayden, chief executive officer of MobileID. “In addition, users have the choice of automatic delivery and forwarding of messages to their MobileID or POP3 e-mail account.”
