CHARLOTTE, N.C.-Glenayre Technologies Inc. will supply its @ctiveLink two-way wireless messaging module for the Handspring Visor computer to Metrocall Inc., which Metrocall will distribute through its various channels.
In addition, Glenayre is bundling the @ctiveLink product with Metrocall service for availability via Amazon.com.
Glenayre also announced that in cooperation with Locate Networks, the companies successfully demonstrated the integration of SnapTrack Inc.’s Wireless Assisted GPS technology with a ReFLEX two-way wireless device. This will allow ReFLEX users to access location-based information.
