HAYWARD, Calif.-Several technology firms have joined to form the Mobile Healthcare Alliance, focused on ensuring the acceptance and proliferation of mobile and wireless computing solutions for the health-care market. The companies include AvantGo Inc., the California Medical Association, Certicom, ePocrates, MEDePASS, Palm Inc., PCS Health Systems and Tunitas Group. The group said its mission is to develop requirements and influence the adoption of standard practices in mobile data management.
