NEW YORK-Centerseat Inc., a content and commerce application service provider, said it has launched wireless extensions to its service to become a wireless ASP.
Centerseat Wireless content includes entertainment programming like movie trailers and celebrity updates.
“We plan to expand out wireless content offering in the near future to include business, financial and medical/health care applications that will be of great interest to the wireless community,” said Scott Harmolin, Centerseat chief executive officer.
Users may visit the Centerseat Web site from their wireless PDAs to download the ActiveSky Media Player, allowing them to view full motion clips.
The company also has plans to offer e-commerce sales of items from its own inventory and that of its partners, including Borders Books and Music, FUBU and Atomic Living.
