PASADENA, Calif.-Google Inc. introduced its Google Number Search, a new feature of its search engine designed to streamline the process of entering text on Web-enabled mobile phones.
The system allows users to enter URLs into a phone by only pressing each key once, instead of several times, to get to the appropriate corresponding letter.
The GNS sits atop Google’s existing WAP search platform.
