Millicom International Cellular said it was awarded a nationwide license to provide wireless data, Internet access and fixed telephony services in Peru. The 20-year license covers 100 percent of the population using the 3.4 GHz to 3.425 GHz and 3.5 GHz to 3.525 GHz frequency bands.
Millicom launched high-speed wireless Internet services in Argentina and Paraguay earlier this year.
