WASHINGTON-The Federal Communications Commission has denied a waiver application submitted by Illinois Valley Cellular RSA 2 Inc. to increase the bandwidth of two stations and for IVC to be allowed to operate as co-primary to personal communications services carriers in its band.
As part of the re-allocation to PCS in the 2 GHz band, the FCC said only minor modifications could maintain co-primary status until they were relocated. IVC’s request was a major modification so it did not qualify for a waiver, the FCC said.
