AvantGo Inc. has agreed to add content from PortableLife.com, such as personalized newsletters and information on mobile technology. Also, AvantGo licensed synchronization technology compatible with both Palm and Microsoft CE operating systems from Chapura Inc.

SmartRay.com introduced a new version of its service, adding new capabilities to the smartRay Web site, as well as new content channels and a new look. Marvel Enterprises Inc. has teamed with Nokia Ventures Corp.-funded Riot Entertainment to develop and offer programs and other content for wireless devices based on popular Marvel Comics characters, including X-Men and Spider-Man. Programming will include games, icons, music and community and chat forums. A wireless X-Men game is expected to be available for WAP phones in Europe and Asia this month, the company said.
