In a July 10 article about System Beta, a one-number dialing system patented by Richard Levine, RCR reported incorrectly that callers would need to dial a star-number code for each call between a wireless and wireline network. This would not be necessary if the codes of the calling and destination lines are properly preset, Levine said.
In the July 17 issue of RCR, the pricing plan for Arch Communications Group Inc.’s Webster wireless Internet messaging services should have been listed as $65 a month for unlimited messages.
The wrong term was used in story about location-based technology in the July 24 issue. The correct term is differential GPS systems.
