DALLAS-Rent Express Communications launched its frequent traveler program for North Americans who travel overseas regularly and need a mobile phone while abroad.
The program costs $50 for one year of access to Global System for Mobile communications international service.
Benefits of the program include a SIM card, which stores all pertinent subscriber information, for use with any GSM phone; one international phone number; wireless coverage in more than 100 countries; discounted airtime rates; and voice mail. Rent Express said customers can choose either a United Kingdom- or Switzerland-based phone number and receive unlimited free incoming calls while in their “home” countries.
