TOKYO-Furukawa Electric Co. Ltd. and Sumitomo Electric Industries Ltd. will consolidate their wireless technology operations in a joint venture company.
The new company will focus on development, production, sales, maintenance, construction, and export of broadcast antennas, fixed communications aerials and feeder components to support hardware, antenna towers and station buildings.
The new venture is scheduled to start business in April.
