LINCOLN, Neb.-Transcrypt International Inc. announced the city of Anderson, Ind., awarded its
EF Johnson division based in Waseca, Minn., a $1.3 million contract to provide a city-wide radio communication
system for Anderson’s public safety agencies and other government users.
The backbone of the system, according to
Transcrypt, will be comprised of an 800 MHz Multi-Net II trunked radio switch. Depending upon Anderson’s
completion of its 911 facility, the system is scheduled to be completed late this year.
