MCLEAN, Va.-Nextel Communications Inc. officially announced its Nextel National Business
Plan that will broaden its reach to include more traditional high-end white collar business users, said the
company.
RCR reported in November Nextel was testing the pricing plans. Priced at $90 and $130, respectively, the
plans offer 500 or 900 digital cellular minutes that can be used anywhere on the Nextel network with no extra charge
for long-distance service. The plans also exclude roaming fees and include a per-second billing and 150 minutes of
Nextel Direct Connect two-way radio minutes.
